This notice describes the website and its connected services. It is updated when those arrangements change.

Who looks after your information

I am Nader alMaleh, based in Lebanon, the operator of this website and the person responsible for how your information is used here. For privacy requests, purchase support or refunds, email [email protected].

This notice covers this website, its library, newsletter, enquiries and consulting services. Other businesses mentioned here, including Typecta, have their own websites and arrangements.

What you share, and why

Different interactions need different information:

  • Contacting me: your name, email, message and any company or phone details you choose to provide. I use these to understand and respond to your enquiry. The contact form does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
  • Applying for The Call: your contact details, business, website, role, revenue band and the issue you want to discuss. These help assess fit and arrange a conversation. Submitting an application does not guarantee a booking.
  • Requesting a Second Opinion: your business information, scope answers, brief, correspondence and relevant records. These support pricing, preparation, delivery and follow-up. An enquiry or quote can be retained even if you do not complete payment.
  • Joining Advisory: your invitation, accepted scope, billing and subscription status, priorities and communications. These support the engagement and its monthly renewal or cancellation.
  • Getting a library item: your contact details, the item requested, delivery and access records, and any purchase or refund details. These let the system deliver the right material and help with access problems.
  • Joining the newsletter: your email, any name supplied, subscription source, status and unsubscribe history. The subscription behaviour is explained below.

Please share only information needed for the request. Do not send passwords, full card details or unnecessary sensitive information through a form. If you provide information about someone else, make sure you are entitled to share it.

Your history with the website

The private administration system brings your interactions together using details such as your email address. This can include enquiries, referral or campaign information, free resources, purchases, refunds, bookings, subscriptions and email activity. It helps me understand the context when you return instead of asking you to start again.

Records migrated from the previous website can also appear in that history, including their original source and purchase details. This history is not a public profile.

Some forms use rules based on the information you submit to suggest a scope and price or route an application for review. If the result seems wrong, email me so a person can look at it.

Newsletter and service emails

The current setup uses single opt-in: there is no confirmation email you must click before joining. Getting a free or paid item can also subscribe you to the newsletter, as explained in the relevant flow.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. Delivery links, payment receipts and essential messages about an existing purchase or engagement are separate from marketing.

Newsletter subscriptions after a new acquisition: taking a new free or paid item subscribes you, including if you previously unsubscribed. Historical imports, repeated processing and old delivery links do not change your subscription. Addresses blocked for delivery failures or complaints are not automatically re-added. You can unsubscribe again from any marketing email.

This describes the current configuration, not a claim that downloading or paying always gives legally valid marketing permission. You can contact me to ask that your marketing preferences be reviewed. You can also email me about your preferences.

The email system can record delivery, opens, clicks, bounces and complaints when the email provider supplies them. These records help with delivery, support and understanding engagement. Open measurements are imperfect and do not prove that you read an email.

Payments, video and other providers

Some features involve service providers:

  • Outta nowhere (FZE), UAE, is the legal seller for purchases through this website. It receives the contact, purchase, billing and transaction information needed to sell, administer payments and refunds, and keep required financial records. Nader alMaleh remains the website operator and contact for website privacy requests.
  • Stripe handles checkout and recurring payments for Outta nowhere (FZE). The website keeps payment references, amounts, currencies, status and refund or subscription records. It does not store your full card number or security code. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Mux hosts and streams website videos. When a player loads or plays, requests can include your IP address, browser or device information and playback information. Thumbnails and player resources can load before you press play. Protected videos use access tokens. See Mux's privacy information.
  • Email delivery: Resend sends service emails from [email protected]. Recipient information, message content and delivery or engagement events pass through it when used. See Resend's privacy policy.
  • Scheduling: the website checks availability against connected Google calendars and creates appointments in the selected booking calendar. This uses calendar identifiers and busy time periods to avoid conflicts. Google receives the name, email and appointment details needed for invitations and Google Meet when included. Private scheduling links and meeting details should not be shared. See Google's privacy policy.

Hosting: DigitalOcean hosts the website and its database on a server in Frankfurt, Germany. The hosting environment processes the information submitted through the website and technical records needed to operate and protect it. See DigitalOcean's privacy policy.

Information needed for an engagement may also be shared with people assisting in its delivery, professional advisers or authorities where there is a legitimate requirement. Providers can process information outside Lebanon. The applicable arrangements and transfer safeguards need to be confirmed for the live setup. Your contact details are not offered for sale.

Cookies and technical information

The website uses session and security cookies for forms, access and administration. The current session lifetime is 120 minutes. Blocking these cookies can stop parts of the website from working.

Forms and technical records can include IP addresses, browser information and campaign parameters such as the source of a link. These support security, troubleshooting and understanding where enquiries come from.

The Mux player can also use a first-party cookie with a randomly generated viewer identifier to understand viewing sessions. That is separate from the website session cookie.

Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and optional tracking snippets are currently disabled. That does not switch off video-provider requests or email-provider activity. There is currently no website-wide consent manager. Any non-essential tracking added later will need an appropriate permission flow and an updated disclosure before it is enabled.

How long information stays

There is not yet a single automatic deletion schedule for customer, enquiry and email records. The current administration system retains these until they are reviewed and removed. Expiry of a download or video link does not delete the underlying customer or purchase record.

Retention decisions need to reflect the purpose: handling an enquiry, delivering an engagement, supporting a purchase, keeping required financial records, resolving a dispute or respecting an unsubscribe. A limited suppression record may need to remain to prevent further marketing. Backups and providers may have separate retention cycles.

You can request deletion now. Any information that must be retained for a legal obligation or unresolved transaction will be explained. Retention and deletion arrangements are reviewed as the services develop.

Your choices and requests

Email [email protected] to request access to your information, a correction, deletion, a change in marketing preferences or an explanation of its use. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, receive portable data or complain to a competent authority.

I may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request is yours. Withdrawing marketing permission does not prevent essential messages about an existing order. It also does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

Where applicable, the purpose and legal basis must match: handling requests and delivering purchases can involve steps towards or performance of a contract; required accounting can involve legal obligations; security and proportionate administration can involve legitimate interests; activities requiring consent must have valid consent. This notice itself is not a consent request.

Keeping information safe and keeping you informed

The website uses access controls and restricted delivery links, but no system can promise absolute security. Keep purchase, invitation and video links private. Email me if you think one has been misused.

The services are aimed at adults and people acting for businesses. If you believe a child has provided personal information here, contact me so it can be reviewed.

This page will change when the services or data practices change. Material changes will be explained as appropriate, and new permission will be requested where required. See the Terms for purchases and engagements.
